Refurbished transformer for RARIK which is from 1984

Renovated and installed a new tap changer in the transformer after an explosion occurred in the ACEC tap changer. Decided to install a new type of tap changer in the transformer from MR Reinhausen of the ECOTAP type. Repairs were carried out in the year 2024.

There had been an explosion in the gearshift as you can see in the picture. It could not be repaired or replaced.
Decided after measuring the transformer windings to get a new tap changer from MR.

More space was needed for the tap changer, so the voltage tank had to be modified. New tap changer installed and connected. Expansion tank modified so that it now has a bladder, also new penetrations and blast hatch installed. New meter cabinet installed to protect the meters from erosion.
