Electrical Panel Systems

RST Net imports and assembles switchboard enclosures from the Danish manufacturer CUBIC, enabling the company to deliver high-quality, customised panel solutions for the power and industrial sectors.

RST Net designs, manufactures and installs low-voltage switchboards and distribution panels rated up to 6,300 A, together with AC and DC distribution panels and stainless steel enclosures. The company also provides engineering support and consultancy to help customers select the most suitable equipment for their applications. 

  • Power Distribution Switchboards: Custom-designed low-voltage switchboards rated up to 6,300 A are available with either fixed or withdrawable functional units. Switchboards can also be supplied with internal arc classification (arc-tested) to provide enhanced operational safety.
  • AC Distribution Panels: AC Distribution Panels
  • DC Distribution Panels: RST Net designs, manufactures and installs DC distribution panels and battery system enclosures, including back-up power systems for substations, switchgear and transformer installations. 
  • Stainless Steel Enclosures A comprehensive range of stainless steel electrical enclosures based on the CUBIC modular system is available for demanding industrial and outdoor environments.
  • Busbar Fabrication: RST Net's panel manufacturing facility is equipped with modern CNC busbar processing machinery for precision cutting, punching and bending, enabling efficient production of high-quality electrical busbars.

VERTO® Distribution Transformers

RST Net manufactures VERTO DTS® Pad-mounted distribution transformers designed for connection to underground electricity distribution networks.

The company produces three-phase distribution transformer substations for Iceland's leading electricity distribution companies, including RARIK, Orkubú Vestfjarða, and HS Veitur. Each substation is engineered to meet the specific operational and technical requirements of the customer, ensuring reliable performance and long-term service. All VERTO DTS® substations are manufactured and factory-tested under a rigorous quality management system and comply with the requirements of IEC 60076, providing customers with the highest standards of quality, safety and reliability.

  • Transformer ratings: 50 kVA, 100 kVA, 200 kVA and 315 kVA
  • Nominal voltages: 11/0.42 kV and 19/0.42 kV
  • High-voltage connections: Standard configurations with two or three high-voltage cable terminations in the vector group Dyn5

Steel Fabrication

RST Net provides design, engineering and steel fabrication services for power generation facilities, substations and other electrical infrastructure projects.

The company's fabrication workshop is equipped with advanced manufacturing technology, including a high-performance Migatronic robotic welding system, ensuring consistently high weld quality, precision and productivity. This enables RST Net to deliver robust steel structures that meet the demanding quality and safety standards of the power industry.
